RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary man has been charged in a string of May robberies along Capital Boulevard.
Zachary Mark Wohlman, 30, of 236 Dutchess Drive, was arrested along with Kyle Robert Fedus on May 11 in connection with a series of robberies over a two-week span involving a gunman wearing a skeleton mask.

Wohlman had only been charged with resisting a public officer, however, until warrants were issued Friday charging him with three counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The warrants state that Wohlman conspired with Phillip O'Shea in all three robberies. O'Shea, Wohlman's half-brother, was killed May 12 in a shootout with police in Florida.

Wohlman is being held in the Wake County jail under a $500,000 bond.

Fedus, 29, of 8621 Neuse Club Lane in Raleigh, is charged with misdemeanor larceny and obtaining property by false pretense.

More charges are expected as the investigation continues.
