FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for three men who beat a Marco's Pizza employee, robbed the restaurant and then stole the employee's truck early Saturday.

The employee, whose name was not released, suffered minor injuries. He did not know his attackers, police said.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m., three black men wearing bandannas waited outside as the Marco's Pizza employee closed the business and left for the day.

They hit him over the head with a gun, robbed the restaurant at 7830 Good Middling Drive and then stole the man's Chevrolet pickup truck, police said.

Officers found the truck about 2 miles away but did not find the three men. Anyone with information about the case should call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
