RALEIGH, N.C. — Local donut and biscuit chain Rise is quickly taking over the Triangle. The restaurant will open its next two locations in the coming weeks.
Rise Carrboro will open at East Main Square next to Fleet Feet Sports at 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27. The store will donate 10 percent of all opening day sales to Carrboro Elementary School. If you want to get an early taste, visit Rise Carrboro on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from noon to 2 p.m. for a sneak preview.
Rise will open its downtown Durham location at 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 12. It is located at 401 Foster St. near Durham Central Park. A percentage of opening day sales will be donated to the Durham Farmers Market. If you want to get a sneak peek of this store, you can get free donuts at the Durham Farmers' Market on Saturday, March 5.
And Rise is also coming to the Brier Creek shopping center in Raleigh. The restaurant, which is owned by Rise Morrisville's Ty Gwennap, is set to open in May in the old home of Elevation Burger, 8301 Brier Creek Parkway. This will be the sixth new Rise location to open since August.

Rise has deals in place to expand to 22 locations with 19 franchises and two corporate owned stores under contract.

Last month, Rise announced that three stores will be opening in Charlotte. The franchise is also finalizing locations in the Dallas, Texas area. It will mark the first locations outside North Carolina.
