— Gov. Pat McCrory on Monday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a Fayetteville man in May 2015.

Police say Jahir Alexander Barrios, 28, answered the door to his home on Torbay Drive on May 8, 2015, and was shot. He died at a hospital shortly thereafter.

At the time, police said they wanted to talk to Markisha Pittman, of 5546 Livingston Dr., about the crime.

No arrests have been made in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1860.
