Reward offered for info in Durham man's shooting death

Durham police are seeking the public's help to learn more about the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are seeking the public's help to learn more about the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man.

Erick Valencia-Diaz, of Durham, was found lying in Braxton Street at about 2:20 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital, where he pronounced dead.

A Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case, investigators said.
