Posted March 3, 2016

— The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Thursday announced a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever set two Lumberton police cruisers on fire Wednesday.

A Lumberton officer on patrol found two unmarked police vehicles on fire in a police department parking lot, authorities said. The State Bureau of Investigation and the ATF determined the fires had been set.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-FIRE.
