Revolver Consignment Boutique on downtown Raleigh's Glenwood South will offer a Mom's Morning Shop on Wednesdays in May.

The store, which usually opens at 11 a.m., weekdays, will open at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays this month. The store hopes to provide some extra shopping time for moms who drop off their little ones at school, preschool or mother's morning out programs. This month, the store also is supporting The Diaper Train, which distributes diapers to needy families in Wake County at the nearby Saint Savior's Center.

Shoppers who bring disposable diapers to the store will get 20 percent off their purchase.

Revolver, 124 Glenwood Ave., carries new and gently used clothing and accessories for men and women. The shop offers a selection of upscale designer brands, vintage and local creations.

Liz Johnson, the shop's owner, tells me that if it's successful, she'd like to do it again in the fall.
