Restoring a Historic Texas Hotel

Mineral Wells, Texas (just outside of Dallas-Fort Worth) was once a thriving destination for visitors interested in taking advantage of the city's natural hot springs. One of the hotels built to cater to exclusive guests was the beautiful Baker Hotel, a facility that towers over the city still even though inside, it's a gutted ruin.

Developers are interested in turning this tragedy around, though, rehabilitating this fantastic historic building with the help of Dallas remodeling firms that specialize in such complex and large-scale projects. The future hotel could become a gorgeous luxury destination and an anchor business for the city, so let's hope they pull it off!
