RALEIGH, N.C. — Looking for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner? Many area restaurants are putting together special menus for you and your special someone to enjoy. Remember, reservations are recommended, so book early!

Raleigh

The Daily Planet Cafe is having a special Valentine's Day dinner called "Star-Crossed Lovers: Love Stories from the Titanic." Inspired by the museum's Titanic exhibit, the dinner will have dishes and cocktails from the early 1900s. The cost is $50 per person and includes a pass to see "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition" that can be used at a later date. Tickets can be purchased online.
The Busy Bee Cafe will have a three-course dinner for $30 ($45 with beer pairings). Menu choices include crab cakes, beer-braised beef short rib, and chocolate mousse cake. Call (919) 424-7817 for reservations.
Mia Francesca is offering a free bottle of wine or sparkling wine and an appetizer if you make your reservations before 4:30 p.m. or after 9:30 p.m. Their three-course dinner menu is offered in conjunction with their regular menu and includes dishes such as house-made raviolis and slow roasted lamb shoulder. Durham

604 at West Village is celebrating Valentine's Day with a four-course Italian menu with dishes such as calamari, ricotta gnocchi and a sorbet trio for dessert. Call (919) 680-6333 for reservations.
Bull City Burger and Brewery is offering a four-course dinner for $45 per person. Courses include House Made Ricotta Cheese Timbale, Marinated & Grilled NC Pasture Raised NY Strip Steak and "Pick Me Up and Take Me Home Tiramisu." They also have beer flights for an additional $10. The first seating is at 6 p.m., and they'll book another seating at 8 p.m. if needed. For reservations call (919) 680-2333.

Cary

An Cuisines will have a five-course prix fixe menu for $80 per person; for $115 per person, you get wine pairings with each course. Dinner includes Lobster Bisque with tangerine, almonds and five-spice cream, 48-hour Short Rib with blood orange glaze and Chocolate Terrine for dessert. Call (919) 677-9229 for reservations.
Dean's Seafood is Cary's newest seafood restaurant, and they will have a three-course Valentine's Day menu for $75 per person or a la carte. They'll have plenty of surf and turf options including an oysters sampler and "Devils on Horseback," a wood-fired NY strip steak. Call (919) 459-5875 for reservations.

Chapel Hill

Lantern is serving up delicious delicacies for Valentine's Day. Their three-course menu is $75 per person and you can choose from dishes like sashimi, seared duck breast and spiced chocolate pudding. For reservations call (919) 969-8846.
