Need some more ways to satisfy your kids' sweet teeth on Friday or alternatives to trick-or-treating? Business are offering some deals to customers on Friday. (UPDATE: Be sure to check WRAL.com's Smart Shopper blog for more).
Participating Krispy Kreme shops will give away a free doughnut to customers who show up in a Halloween costume on Friday, Oct. 31. No masks. While supplies last.
Kids 12 and under can get a free Scary Face Pancake at IHOP on Friday, Oct. 31. (The pancake is available in the restaurants throughout the month of October, but only free on Halloween). Kids get a pancake, along with items to decorate it like Oreos, candy corn, and a strawberry (so I guess one thing is healthy!).
At Chipotle, you can score a $3 burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos from 5 p.m. to close, Friday, Oct. 31, if you come in costume. Chipotle will be donating the proceeds from "Boorito" to The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, which works to create a more sustainable and healthful food supply.
Bass Pro Shops, now with a location in Cary, offers all kinds of activities this week, including some on Friday such as pumpkin decorating,  trick-or-treating and a free kid's owl drawstring bag giveaway.
PDQ is offering deals on Friday if you come in costume. Customers can buy one, get one free on any order if they come in costume (so buy one fry, get one free, for instance). And kids 10 and under who come in costume can get a free kids meal.
At Tijuana Flats, kids eat free on Friday with the purchase of an adult entree. No costumes required. It also has a four for $30 takeout deal that includes four entrees and four drinks.
And the Chick-fil-A in Raleigh's Cameron Village will offer a storytime at 9 a.m., Friday. Kids are invited to wear their costume.
