Reports: Former President George H.W. Bush to vote for Clinton

Posted September 20

CNN and the Washington Post reported that former President George H.W. Bush told some friends Monday that he would vote for Hillary Clinton in November. Both newspapers cited sources close to Bush, who was speaking to a gathering of about 40.

Other news organizations pointed to a Facebook post from Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, who posted a photo of herself with George H.W. Bush with the caption “The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!”

Representatives for the Bush family declined to comment.

"The vote President Bush will cast as a private citizen in some 50 days will be just that: a private vote cast in some 50 days. He is not commenting on the presidential race in the interim," Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement.

The Bushes helped get this country where it is now. TRUMP may reverse some of what they have done. Trump may just upset their apple cart and they all know it...

Well, since the CIA news network reported it, then it has to be true. Because CNN would never tell a lie or distort the truth in any way, shape or form. You guys don't see to get it. Trump and Hillary were chosen by the media, not us. It's all an illusion played in our background to give you the feeling of being in control when reality is the total opposite. There are so many people waiting on you guys to start seeing things for what they really are. When that happens, real change will happen.

I think you are right, Mr. Smith. Our "system" is completely broken. But Trump as President is certainly not the answer. As horrid as our system has become, it is not worth having the leader of the free world be in the back pocket of Putin, and thus destroying this country. And should we all survive this election without a Trump presidency, the powers that be should get on their knees, thank God we dodged a bullet, and make their #1 mission to come together in a bipartisan effort to reform our broken nation.

Anyone who thinks that Trump is "one of the people" is sadly mistaken. He has done what every politician has always done by buying his way into an election he has no chance of winning. I'll agree that he says what we want to hear, like every politician has always done, but when asked HOW he is going to accomplish anything, he had very solemn answers. I think the comment "has a death wish" merely meant that Trump is too high strong. He has done a very good job of proving that. The first time he is challenged by another country's leaders, he will respond with force, forcing the US into another deadly and costly war like Bush Jr..

That sounds like a veiled threat. "Death wish"? I must say I am not surprised by Bush's willingness to vote for Clinton. The DC elitist cartel seems to stretch across the aisle in both directions unimpeded. After all is said and done both sides seem to enjoy spending our money and stuffing their pockets with lobbyist money. To many of us they are not as polarized as they would like the Nation to believe; they are very much a set of oligarchical elitist politicians treating each other amicably behind the scenes and taking turns being in charge. Many people just don't believe their lies any longer and quite frankly the level of voter apathy in the Nation may be just as high as the anger the media keeps talking about. That is why Bernie and Donald are so popular this year. It is not a coincidence. We definitely need more competition in the form of other political parties in this country. The two party system is failing miserably.

No living past president will vote for Trump. Not Carter, not Bush the elder, not Bill Clinton, not W and certainly not President Obama. Anyone who votes for Trump has a death wish and hates this country.
