RALEIGH, N.C. — This weekend members of the media will be standing up for animals in need. The first North Carolina Funniest Reporter Show is Sunday at Goodnight's Comedy Club in Raleigh.
The event features members of the media doing stand-up comedy. While the title is on the line, the show has a bigger focus. It is a fundraiser for the SPCA of Wake County and Project Pets - two organizations that do so much to help animals in need.
I am one of the reporters taking the stage. I will be joined by Heather Moore of News 14, Jo-Anne Julia of Source Magazines, Demetri Ravanos of Talk Radio 850 and Nancy Mccleary of The Fayetteville Observer.
I've been training since July and hopefully will at least get a few laughs! Come out and support these charities and hopefully laugh with us (or at us, if you want)!
