Report: Hondas most popular with car thieves

Posted — UpdatedThe National Insurance Crime Bureau’s annual report on stolen vehicles finds that Honda sedans from the mid-1990s are the car most prized by thieves. Two Hondas – the 1996 Accord and 1996 Civic – show up at the top of the list of vehicles most commonly stolen in North Carolina.
The NCIB released the list Monday. It examines theft reports to identify which makes, models and years were stolen most often in 2008.

3. 1997 Ford F150 Series Pickup Truck
4. 1996 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
