Reminder: Stroller skating at Raleigh rink Thursday

Posted January 12, 2016

Sarah Lindenfeld Hall skating during stroller skating at downton Raleigh's Winterfest.

Reminder: If you have kids of stroller-riding age, the ice skating rink in downtown Raleigh has a special event for you this week!

From 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, the rink will offer special stroller skating hours where an adult can skate while pushing around their child in a stroller. I did this several years ago and had a great time (and a great little workout). The cost will be $12 total for both the stroller and the adult skater.

The rink is at City Plaza on Fayetteville Street. It will be open through Jan. 31.
