Reminder: Pullen Park train closed for maintenance

I know a lot of us have Monday off and the weather isn't supposed to be too cold ...

If you planned on heading over to Pullen Park for some play, here's your reminder that the park's popular train is closed for annual maintenance through Friday, Jan. 20.

The park's kiddie boats and pedal boats both are closed for the season, scheduled to reopen in March.

But the rest of the park is open for business. The carousel will remain open for rides from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily. The playground is open from dawn to dusk, daily.

Pullen Park is at 520 Ashe Ave. near downtown Raleigh.
