Just a quick reminder that WRAL.com will host a live chat starting at 9 a.m., Wednesday, with financial aid officials from Duke University and N.C. Central University.
They'll be available to answer your questions about financial aid and FAFSA, which stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is a required form for students who hope to qualify for any federal and most state financial aid. Saturday is FAFSA Day, an annual event that provides support and guidance to high school seniors and even those already attending college as they submit their free application for federal student aid.
You also can catch me on the WRAL-TV morning news on Fox 50 between about 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. I'll be talking about the five things high school seniors should know about the FAFSA.
