Here's a reminder that today (9/18) is FREE Moe's Queso Day and tomorrow (9/19) you can score free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme when you talk like a pirate! The McDonald's free coffee promo is also continuing.

McCafe Sampling Event - September 16- September 29

Participating McDonald’s restaurants in the Triangle and Sandhills are offering free coffee to customers during their McCafe Sampling Event. This event will last two weeks from September 16 - September 29 (National Coffee Day) during breakfast hours. Customers will have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary small cup of freshly brewed McCafe coffee.

 

Moe's Free Queso Day on Thursday, September 18

The annual Free Queso Day at Moe's Southwest Grill is back again for a fifth year! On Thursday, September 18, score a free 6 oz. cup of queso and tortilla chips at more than 550 participating locations! And there is no purchase necessary. You can see more information on their website.

Moe’s is encouraging fans to rally their families and friends to get together and share their love of Moe’s Famous Queso by joining the #TeamQueso movement on their favorite social platforms.

 

Krispy Kreme Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19

Talk like a pirate at your local Krispy Kreme on September 19 and you'll score some treasure in the form of a FREE Original Glazed doughnut! If you go all out and dress in full pirate attire, you'll hit the mother lode with a dozen FREE Original Glazed doughnuts!

This freebie is valid on September 19 only, which happens to be International Talk Like a Pirate Day, as I am sure you already knew.

Here are some additional details from the Krispy Kreme website.

Pirate costumes must include three or more of the following items and no weapons are allowed:

• Eye Patch
• Pirate Hat
• Bandana
• Peg Leg
• Parrot on Shoulder
• Pirate Shirt / Loose white shirt
• Knickers
• Leather Belt
• Silver and gold necklaces and earrings
• Pirate Hook
• Pointy black boots or ragged brown sandals
