— A registered sex offender is in trouble with the law again.

James Rudolph Freeman, 50, of 1913 Peach Creek Court in Raleigh, is facing a charge of taking indecent liberties with a child, according to arrest warrants.

Police said the charge involves inappropriately touching a young girl.

Freeman is also charged with failure to report a change of address and being on the premises of a child care center, the warrants state.

Police said Freeman was employed at the Quality Education Institute of Raleigh. However, officers said the alleged sexual offense did not occur at the child care center.

Freeman was being held Wednesday on a $1 million bond. He is due in court Thursday.

This man and his wife just don't know what type of damage their have done to that child and her family. Their lives will for ever be changed. It takes a sick MF to keep on touching on children not just girls but boys too. And for the daycare yes they need to be closed down like three weeks ago close down. As a parnet there is not a word out here that can express how I feel about the whole mess. I pray everynight that God don't allow the child to be scared for life from this mess.

Now hold on a minute. An article published later says that he only did contract work with the Institute. Maybe he was never around kids. The Institute should make a statement ASAP.

"Freeman was employed at the Quality Education Institute of Raleigh."

HUH?!?!?!? How can that be. Guess their background checks leave a LOT to be desired.

My children had went there about a year and half ago and I had to yank them out. They had problems back then with the teachers mistreating my mentally disabiled son and not properly supervising the kids. I had called DHHS and nothing ever happened. It was very sad. They really need to consider shutting down ASAP !! This is just too scary.

"Police said the charge involves inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl."

They have to find a more permanent way of dealing with child molesters. California proved they cannot be rehabilitated, so why are they being jailed for a time, but then let lose to prey again???

How do other countries deal with them???

    Praying for the child.

    God bless.

This simply proves once more that sexual predators do not change. They continue to ruin young lives as long as they live. We REALLY need to change the NC laws and punish these monsters. When they rape or molest a child they kill that child's soul and they never recover. I know because it happened to me.
