Red Line Beer & Wine: A Raleigh bar that delivers

Raleigh, N.C. — It's a craft beer/wine bar and a bottle shop...and they deliver!
The idea of a delivery service started it all for Red Line owner Alex Selwaeh. With his business partner, Heather Ward, Selwaeh discovered that in order to get proper licensing for the delivery business, Red Line would need a storefront.
The pair knew exactly what they wanted Red Line to be:
- A place of convenience.
- A place where you can go chill after work and grab a drink.
- A place that is pet-friendly both inside and out.
- A place where you can grab a six-pack of a hip new beer or a bottle of your favorite wine.
- A place that delivers everything you need to get your next party started (like beer, wine, champagne, cigars, kegs and gift baskets).
Red Line boasts a large and unique product selection, with 24 craft beers on tap, growler refills and a selection of 50-75 wines, all of which are available for purchase by the glass.
The bottle shop has tastings every Tuesday, FIFA tournaments, and they are gearing up for the fall with a projector screen for big sporting events.
Open since April 9th, Red Line has already tapped into its North Carolina State University surroundings as a major part of their audience. The space is right off of Hillsborough Street (behind Jasmin and off of Horne Street), a great location for delivery service.
Right now the delivery range is about 15 miles from the store, and there is a minimum order and delivery charge. Come in for a drink at the bar and pick out some beer to take home - or let Red Line deliver the party favors to you!
