Raleigh, N.C. — The Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh had more than 100,000 visitors this season, venue representatives said Tuesday.
A total of 109,098 ticket-holders visited the outdoor venue from May 2 through Oct. 5. They attend 29 shows, including fun., Imagine Dragons and the IBMA Wide Open Bluegrass Festival. The attendance is the highest in the venue's three-year history.
“We set out to put on a diverse series of shows and offer something for everyone,” Red Hat Amphitheater spokesman Taylor Traversari said in a press release. “Thanks to our City team and our friends at Live Nation, we hit both those milestones and created a rockin’ experience for our community.”
The amphitheater holds nearly 6,000 people. The City of Raleigh partners with concert promoter Live Nation to book many national acts there.
