Chef Hannah from Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio shares this easy, yummy breakfast treat.
Monkey Bread
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cans (16.3 oz each) biscuits
1 cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup butter, melted

½ cup chopped walnuts and raisins, optional

Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 12 cup fluted tube pan with cooking spray. In large plastic sealed bag, mix sugar and cinnamon. Separate the dough into 16 biscuits; then cut into quarters. Put in bag and shake to coat.

Arrange in pan. Add raisins or walnuts amount the biscuit pieces if desired.

In small mixing bowl, mix brown sugar and butter; pour over biscuits

Bake 30 – 35 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in the center. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate and pull apart to serve.
