The recipe makes two drinks.
Conniption Gin Basil Smash
Ingredients
- 2-3 basil leaves
- 2 oz. Conniption American Dry Gin
- 1 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 8 drops Crude Rizzo Bitters
- 2-3 oz. club soda
Directions
Tear up basil leaves and muddle gin with the leaves for 20 to 30 seconds in a cocktail shaker (no ice). Add lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters, and shake. Split into two rocks glasses with ice and top with 2 or 3 ounces of club soda (or to taste).
Stir and enjoy!
