The traditional Thanksgiving, overflowing with autumn vegetables and fruits, goes lil’ chef-friendly with this Thanksgiving Day dessert for your favorite lil’ ones!

Any unhappiness at being seated at the kiddie table will fade if there’s one of these in front of each place setting! Put out tubes of decorating gel and let each child decorate his or her own cornucopia. This one is such a fun treat that the adults will beg to craft one too!

Candy Cornucopias

Ingredients:

1 sugar cone
Decorating gels in different colors

About 1/3 cup of Thanksgiving type candy such as candy corn, mini pumpkins, jelly beans

Directions:

1) Fill each cone with some of the candy first and then lay each filled cones on a small plate. The weight of the candy inside will keep the cone from rolling around.

2) Let your favorite lil’ chef pipe on dots and swirls to decorate the cones as they like.

3) Add additional candy spilling from the cone for a cute visual effect!
