RDU worker accused of security breach
Raleigh-Durham International Airport authorities revoked an employee's security badge and ended his ability to work at the airport Monday after he breached airport security, officials said.
Posted — UpdatedJonathan Gregg, 37, was cited with disorderly conduct, airport spokeswoman Mindy Hamlin said.
Gregg escorted a friend of his, Amy Farmer, past RDU's security checkpoint in Terminal 2, and Transportation Security Administration workers immediately stopped them, Hamlin said.
Farmer, 31, was cited with second-degree trespassing.
Hamlin called the incident a case of bad judgment, noting there was no security threat and no flights were affected.
