RALEIGH, N.C. — Two men robbed the RBC Bank branch at 10301 Lumley Road in Raleigh shortly after noon Friday, police said.

The men wore masks and were dressed in dark clothing, with the exception of a light-colored jacket that one of them wore. At least one of them was armed with a handgun, police said.

The robbers fled in an older-model, black car that witnesses said might have been a four-door Buick or Oldsmobile. The car had a North Carolina tag with red lettering, and the first three letters might have been LNJ, police said. A red-letter plate with that prefix would be unusual, however.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555.
