Raleigh Woman Will Dine With Obama

Posted April 9, 2008

— A Raleigh woman won the right to have dinner with Sen. Barack Obama.

Alisha Cordell is one of five campaign donors nationwide who will dine with the candidate.

“Then I started jumping up and down and was excited. Now I can tell people. I can finally say something. It still hasn't set in,” Cordell said.

Cordell said she wants to talk to Obama about investments, education and healthcare. She hopes he will have solutions that will make things easier for her children and grandchildren.

Just Ice, way to take the "high-road". That's the best way to handle someone who can't even have an adult debate/conversation without getting all bent out of shape. Well done! In the meantime, I'll be doing my research in order to make an informed decision in the voting booth.

bullet, I wrote that "jealously" had nothing to do with it.

I meant that a difference in politics doesn't reflect jealousy. You must not have gotten my meaning.

"your comments/opinions are just that..YOURS, keep'em to yourself"

Boy lady, if you are looking for people to keep their opinions to themselves, you are definitely in the wrong place!!!!! But I have to know this, because it's a mentality I'm not familiar with. Why does anyone that has an opinion that differs from yours, need to keep it to themself? I'm not familiar with the "Obama mentality", so I'm just asking.

doodad - "If Obama were a conservative republican, he would be avoided by the same who support him now like the plague."
What does that even mean? Of course we would avoid him. People who support a liberal democrat would not support a conservative republican. What kind of insight it that?

I'm sure he can advise on investments.

Jealousy has nothing to do with it.

America does not need a give everything away Liberal president, white, black, male or female.

If Obama were a conservative republican, he would be avoided by the same who support him now like the plague.

"Paladin2" Thanks for the Grammar lessons..And you're right, I meant to say "Don't say anything at all", but when you're typing fast, sometimes you make mistakes..Again, thanks for correcting me!! :)

Theres so many Obama haters. Soooooooo jealous!!

"DON'T say NOTHING AT ALL"! - mslady - That's a double negative type statement with an inappropriate commanding verb. It would be clearer to say "Say nothing at all" or "Don't say anything at all". Just trying to be helpful.
