Raleigh woman missing from group home

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert late Friday for a 29-year-old woman missing from a Raleigh group home.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert late Friday for a 29-year-old woman missing from a Raleigh group home.

Frieda Smith, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was last seen at the Blessed Home Inc. on Edgetone Drive.

She is described as a black woman, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. Smith has short, black hair and brown eyes. She shaves her into either a fade or close brush. She has visible Psoriasis on her left elbow.

Smith was last seen wearing a New Yankees baseball cap, a white T-shirt, black athletic shorts with white pipes and sneakers.
