Raleigh woman arrested for elderly exploitation

A Raleigh woman was arrested Sunday for taking advantage of an elderly woman in her care, according to police.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman was arrested Sunday for taking advantage of an elderly woman in her care, according to police. 

Jacqueline Allen, 49, of 837 Friar Tuck Road, is accused of stealing several checks totaling $1,500 from a disabled elderly woman, according to a warrant.

An arrest warrant for Allen indicates that the alleged crimes happened in Jun. 2013. 

Allen is due in court Tuesday.
