Raleigh woman accused of spitting at officer

— A Raleigh woman faces charges in connection with kicking and spitting at a police officer during a traffic stop.

Barbara Ann Jones, 50, was pulled over on Saint Mary's Street early Saturday morning.

According to the arrest warrant, Jones was driving left of the center line with her headlights off.

Jones was later released from jail on a $3,000 bond.

    Yikes! You should never do that to an officer. You can argue, but keep it respectful. He is the law, sometimes they might not always be the nicest officer, but don't make it worse by spitting. If he was over the top, you get his information and fie a complaint.

    maybe she's one of those folks that spits and kicks when she talks. i had a girlfriend i though was like that, but then i found out she just hated me.

    Well, if she had been male, the cop could of pulled her shirt over her head to stop the spitting. But, he might of got in trouble pulling her shirt over her head.

    And this is newsworthy because?? My husband is a bail bondsman and he sees the same spitting drunks all of the time.
