Raleigh woman, 57, reported missing

Raleigh police were searching Sunday morning for 57-year-old Edith "Eddy" Louise Snead, who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching Sunday morning for 57-year-old Edith "Eddy" Louise Snead, who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Snead, who was last seen at 627 Donald Ross Drive, around 9:45 a.m.

She is black, with black and gray hair and brown eyes, 4 feet 11 inches tall and about 150 pounds. She uses a walker and was last seen wearing a pink toboggan hat, a burgundy sweater, black pants and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on Snead's whereabouts is asked to call police at 919-996-2000.
