RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh teenager is being accused of advancing the prostitution of a person with mental disabilities.

Mercedes Tejana Davis, 16, was arrested in Durham and charged Friday with one count of promoting prostitution of a minor with mental disabilities and one count of promoting prostitution while confining a minor with mental disabilities. She was also charged with one count of felony conspiracy for allegedly conspiring with five unknown men to commit first-degree rape.

According to Durham police, Davis will also face a charge of attempted larceny for the theft of a vehicle and has charges in Wake County for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Bond for Davis was set at $1 million.
