The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences will host a teen volunteer fair this month.
It's set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 26, at the downtown Raleigh museum's environmental conference center on the fourth floor of the Nature Research Center. Kids 12 and up can hear more about the museum's teen volunteer opportunities, meet current participants and ask questions about the application process.
Volunteer positions include junior curator for kids who love animals and exploring nature; cafe coordinator to help plan Teen Science Cafes, which feature current science research; and teen newsroom member for kids who have skills in photography, video, writing and graphics.
Parents are welcome to attend. No RSVP is required. The museum's website has more information.
