Raleigh roads closed for sewer repair

— The City of Raleigh is closing several blocks of Lake Boone Trail and Brooks Avenue Friday to make emergency repairs on about 30 feet of sewer main, according to a city official.

The 400 to 700 blocks of Lake Boone Trail and the 1700 block of Brooks Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Drivers should avoid those areas if possible.

    It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it! Naturally they'll be 15 workers out there, but only 3 will be doing anything. Tax dollars at work! Drive over there and check it out.
