— Six days after she was reported missing, the Raleigh Police Department and the N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert issued for a Raleigh teen.

Arielle Renee Williams-Stevenson had last been seen in the 700 block of Carolina Avenue on Oct. 3.

Authorities did not immediately say what new information led them to cancel the alert.

According to the N&O she returned home.

There is no 'crying wolf' she is a teenager with a cognitive impairment (the qualifying factor of a Silver Alert, not to be confused with an Amber Alert) who was missing for about a week.

Just because all the details aren't released yet does not mean that it wasn't serious.

They never explain why the alerts are cancelled. Good thing I began ignoring all of these in the first place.

Has she been found. The story was not conclusive.

They didn't exactly say she was found, they said the alert was cancelled with no explanation. One would think she was found. Another blunder in WRAL's reporting.

So glad she was found, I hope she is ok.
