Raleigh police seek to ID armed robbery suspect

Raleigh police are seeking to identify a man who they say robbed two convenience stores on the same night in early May.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are seeking to identify a man who they say robbed two convenience stores on the same night in early May.

The man carried a gun, threatened the store clerk and stole money at the Rose Mart store at 210 E. Six Forks Road around 10:45 p.m. and at a BP store at 6200 Glenwood Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on May 6, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

The man is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Anyone who might know the man’s identity or has other information that might be helpful to detectives investigating the cases is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
