Raleigh police seek ninth suspect in murder

Posted July 29, 2008

— Raleigh police charged a ninth person Tuesday in the slaying of a man whose body was found in a southeast Raleigh subdivision.

The body of Robert George Gagnon Jr., 28, was found Saturday at 5600 Bringle Court in a subdivision off Poole Road. A neighbor reported hearing sounds of a scuffle in the home during the night, police said.

Michael Jordan McDuffie, 21, was charged Tuesday with murder in Gagnon's death. Police were looking for McDuffie and asked anyone who knows where he might be to call the Raleigh Police detective division at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-2746.

Bravette Devon Chrisp, 18, Marcus Pierre Davon Johnson, 21, and Darrell Jerome Lavine, 19, are also charged with murder in Gagnon's death.

Zachary Delarente Colmore, 17, Ebony Monique Johnson, 18, Louis Johnson III, 21, and Joshua Lee Locus, 20, are charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

On Tuesday, police arrested 21-year-old Murad Terrell Taylor and charged him with being an accessory after the fact of murder. Taylor was transported to the Wake County Jail.

Police haven't released information about the cause of Gagnon's death or the killers' motive.

The case remains under investigation.

You know parents are raising there children to the best of their ability. Point is the children are slicking and lying to the parents until they find themselves in serious consequences and hoping there parents will help them. I say to the parents allow them to go to prison. Evidence is going to prove your child was involved one way or the other. You can visit them in prison anytime you want. Only thing is when you get ready to leave, your child has to stay behind and continue to suffer his/her consequences. Mean while you can return home just know for a fact where your child is. PRISON!

"If there are 8 people involved in this murder, that constitutes a gang

Depends on the motive to me. The destruction of the nuclear family is the root of the problem. It used to be that if you did something wrong someone new your parents & would correct you & call and let them know about it. The parents would then levy the repercussions. Now people just don't want to get involved & parents believe their kids are perfect little angels.

Why is it when a child gets in trouble, then and only then you want to know where the daddy is. He is probably in the streets, in prison, don't care about the child (that the mother says is his) or possible has never been told he is the father. Mother of your children continue to do what you have been doing in the welfare of your child. Bless you in all you do by yourself.

Due to the many blessings received from the "Rev", and the Election of Dear Leader, these incidents will soon cease. All humanity will live as one.

"if Tyron new his mama would get in trouble for his actions maybe he would think twice??"

    What about his dada???

I'd betting Tyron has little or no relationship with his "father".
