Billy the Kid, I agree with you! Don't steal. The Government hates competition.

When will we stop arresting these people for stealing? It's simple wealth redistribution. The government steals money from me every two weeks.

"Good police work...now keep behind bars until he learns not to steal from hard working folks..."

Mr. McNeill will not serve any time. He'll be slapped on the writst and be let go. The only lesson he will learn is to be a little more careful when he steals again.

. I'm all for more public cameras!!

That's a double edged sword....it's only good as long as those that control the cameras share your view of right and wrong. Ever read "1984"?

I agree with you, to a degree. It's funny to me to hear the "privacy advocates" decry all of the public cameras around town and in businesses. But you're out in public, you have NO RIGHT to privacy. At least Raleigh isn't as bad as London or parts of New York, cameras literally on every street light with facial recognition software running.

Isn't technology wonderful? This guy- on camera. The Boston bombers- on camera. The kid who shot up a NOLA Mother's Day parade- on camera, and many more. I'm all for more public cameras!! Let's make it harder and harder for the crooks in our society to get away with their crimes against the citizens. Take the streets back!!
