— Raleigh police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say robbed the Bojangles' restaurant in the 4600 block of New Bern Avenue Saturday afternoon.

According to investigators, the man entered the restaurant about 4:15 p.m. armed with a handgun and stole money before fleeing on foot.

The man is described as a black male with a slim build. He was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 foot tall and had a deep voice, police said. Witnesses told investigators he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a mask.

Why is New Bern Ave. such a heavy target for crime?

I don't understand how this could happen. That Bojangles has a strict "no gun" policy. He must not have seen the sign.
