Raleigh police seek help to identify suspects in 5 robberies

Raleigh police are asking the public for help to identify suspects wanted in connection with five robberies that occurred in December and January.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are asking the public for help to identify suspects wanted in connection with five robberies that occurred in December and January. 

Four of the robberies occurred along the New Bern Avenue corridor, and in each incident, a single suspect entered a business, took money and left the area on foot, investigators said. 

Weapons were not displayed during the incidents, but in some cases employees of the businesses were assaulted. It's not clear if the cases are related.

The robberies happened at the following locations:

  • Dec. 19, 11 p.m., Comfort Suites motel at 1309 Corporation Parkway
  • Dec. 21, 2:55 p.m., Payless Shoes store at 4501 New Bern Avenue
  • Dec. 21, 4:30 p.m., Subway restaurant at 3416 Poole Road
  • Jan. 27, 8:30 p.m., CVS pharmacy at 4309 New Bern Avenue
  • Jan. 28, 12:48 a.m., Microtel Inn at 1209 Plainview Drive
