RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man caught on surveillance cameras robbing a business.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday, the armed suspect robbed the New Hope Business Center, at 1600-101 Ronald Drive, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a gold or silver colored four-door sedan.

The suspect is described as a dark complexioned black man in his early 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing an oversized hooded white sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, white sneakers and a blue bandanna.

Anyone with information that might assist in the investigation is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-HELP. Crime Stoppers pay cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
