Raleigh police seek bank robbery suspect

Police said a white man in his 40s entered the Wachovia bank at 2016 Fairview Road Tuesday afternoon, passed a note to the teller, then fled on foot.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police asked for the public's help Tuesday in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery.

Police said a white man in his 40s entered the Wachovia bank at 2016 Fairview Road Tuesday afternoon, passed a note to the teller, then fled on foot.

Surveillance video showed the suspect to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weigh about 200 pounds. He was wearing a yellow golf shirt, dark pants and a red and white baseball cap, possibly with an Ohio State or North Carolina State logo.
