Raleigh police searching for suspect in August robbery
Authorities said a man entered the Family Dollar at 2223 New Hope Church Road at about 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 20 and displayed a handgun before robbing the store and fleeing on foot.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are seeking public assistance in locating a man who robbed a Family Dollar store last month.
Authorities said a man entered the Family Dollar at 2223 New Hope Church Road at about 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 20 and displayed a handgun before robbing the store and fleeing on foot.
The man is described as being black with a slim build and is about 5 feet 9 inches in height.
