Two people were shot and injured Tuesday night during a cook out at Green Road Park near Brockton Drive in Raleigh.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Two people were shot and injured Tuesday night during a cook out at Green Road Park near Brockton Drive in Raleigh.

One person was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle, police said. The other was found several yards away from the first person and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Authorities did not know if or how the two people were connected. Their names and severity of their injuries was not released.

Nearby residents said there were dozens of shots fired, according to Raleigh police.
