Raleigh police looking for missing 16-year-old

Posted June 23, 2013

— Raleigh police are trying to find a 16-year-old girl who might be without her medication.

Investigators said Ayshah Abu-Baker was last seen Saturday night on Crossroads Vista Drive and that, although no foul play is known to have been involved in her disappearance, police want to find her.

Police did not say what kind of medical condition she has.

Abu-Baker is white, stands about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a fuchsia T-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who believes they might have seen Abu-Baker or knows where she is should call 911.

I hurt for the parents. I have a 16yr old as well, watch her like a hawk ... and give her space at the same time. It's like living in a washer machine.
