Raleigh police looking for man who robbed SECU branch

Raleigh police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery that happened Thursday afternoon at a State Employees' Credit Union branch.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery that happened Thursday afternoon at a State Employees' Credit Union branch. 

Authorities say a man entered the branch, located at 4050 Poole Road, at about 5:15 Thursday and passed a robbery note to a teller. After the teller complied with the note's demands, the man fled the building. 

Police say the man is described as a thin white male in his 20s who stands about 6 feet tall. He was reportedly wearing a light-colored coat and may have facial hair.
