Raleigh police investigating early-morning shooting

— Raleigh police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Wednesday morning.

A police spokesman said in a news release that officers responding around 1 a.m. to a shooting in the 6100 block of Foxhall Village Road found Alfonso Canjay, 42, of Raleigh, dead at the scene.

Detectives are looking for two men in their late 20s who stand between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches. One was wearing a blue-gray hooded sweatshirt; the other was bald and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

    wtvd is reporting that the man was 42 years old and he was chaseing 2 males who was breking into cars when he was shot

    Why do people think it's the gun's fault. The bigger question is why do people have so little regard human life. Stop blaming guns. Let us make it about attitude adjustments. $100 says the people involved have some type of criminal records.
