Raleigh police investigating armed robbery on Poole Road

Police said they believe a man wearing dark clothes and a red bandanna got away in a car waiting nearby.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating an armed robbery Saturday night at a Citgo gas station.

Authorities said they believe a man, armed with a gun, wearing dark clothes and a red bandanna walked into the C Mini Mart, 3405 Poole Road, around 8 p.m., demanded money and got away in a car that was waiting nearby.

Investigators did not release any other details about the crime.
