RALEIGH, N.C. — A man doing building maintenance work in Raleigh Friday night was carjacked, according to police.

The man was working at 503 Oberlin Road just before 10:30 p.m. when a black man approached him. A struggled ensued as the black male took the victim’s keys and fled in the victim’s vehicle, police said.

It was a strong-arm robbery, and no weapons were involved, officials said.

Police are looking for a black 2002 Ford Explorer with the state tag DBW-8248.

The black male, who was in his 30s or 40s, had close-cropped hair and was wearing dark clothing and a New York Yankee’s baseball cap, officials said.
