WFrules..."She was probably on the cell phone or typing/reading an email msg. So sad. Non hands free cell phones and texting or replying to an email should be banned in any vehicle, including the people who are out there protecting us (police, fire, emergency, etc). It only takes a second to have something happen on the road and if you're not ready, you're in trouble!"

Where did that comment come from? Unless I missed something in the article it didn't say anything about cell phones, email or texting!

Wow....that was out of left field.

Hope everyone involved in this accident is okay!!!

I had to stop at a green light while a state trooper went thur the red light no lights no siren, he seemed to just be in a hurry. They do need to slow down at intersections and ensure traffic has stoped before proceeding. Someone could be in the intersection and not have to stop without blocking the intersection.

"LOL at leo-nc. Yeah, I was the same way even slowed down for green myownself."---

I agree. Some people just don't know how to react when they see the blue lights coming. I get everything from people slamming on the brakes in front of me and stopping in the middle of the road, to people pulling left and trying to get in the median. The list goes on and on.

Just remember this folks... DO NOT EVER PULL TO THE LEFT WHEN YOU SEE THE LIGHTS UNLESS GETTING TO THE RIGHT IS BLOCKED. IT'S A GOOD WAY TO GET US BOTH HURT!! ALWAYS PULL RIGHT AND STOP!

Yeah, I felt myself getting a little chilly ;)

Wow, someone call Ripleys, leo-nc and I actually AGREED on something....and to Colinmb...as I stated earlier, I was not in anyway bashing on the officer, I simply stated what leo-nc did, as well as waiting for the investigation to unfold...Funny how you can thank him but not admit you were incorrect in your earlier posts. Leo-nc..I bet it's freezing down in Hades right now....LOL!
