According to police, the suspect demanded cash and fled after a teller complied with his demands. He then got into an SUV and drove west on Brier Creek Parkway.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a robbery just before 10:40 a.m. at the First Citizens Bank at 10201 Little Brier Creek Lane.

According to police, a man demanded cash and fled after a teller complied with his demands. He then got into an brown SUV and drove west on Brier Creek Parkway.

The robber is described as a heavyset white man wearing a Washington Nationals baseball cap who walked with a cane and had his arm in a sling.
